Muscatine's Home Improvement Team
Houck's Construction brings honest craftsmanship to kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and decks across Muscatine and the Quad Cities. We're the general contractor who shows up and gets it right.
Houck's Construction, LLC was founded by Travis Glynn right here in Muscatine with one simple goal: deliver home improvement services homeowners can actually count on. We're not a national chain or a revolving door of subcontractors. We're neighbors who happen to be skilled in remodeling, decks, and outdoor living work.
That local focus shapes how we operate. We take time to understand what matters to you before the first tool comes out, whether that's a kitchen renovation that needs to fit a tight timeline or a basement remodeling project that has to work around your family's schedule.
Communication, transparency, and quality workmanship aren't slogans for us. They're the standard we hold every project to, from the first estimate through the final walkthrough.
What We Build
Houck's Construction organizes its work into three areas homeowners care about most. Each one covers a full range of services, so you get one point of contact no matter how big or small the project.
Whatever stage your project is in, from early ideas to a finished space, our team is ready to walk through it with you.
From kitchen remodeling and bathroom renovation to basement finishing and whole home remodeling, our remodeling contractor crew handles interior upgrades along with siding installation, repair, and replacement.
Whether you want a new wood deck, a low-maintenance composite deck, or repairs on an aging structure, our deck contractor team handles installation, replacement, staining, and ongoing deck maintenance.
Our landscape contractor and hardscape contractor team designs patios, retaining walls, paver walkways, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, and pergolas built around how your family actually uses the yard.
Update your kitchen with new cabinets, countertops, and layouts designed around how your family actually cooks and gathers.
From a full bathroom renovation to smaller updates, we handle plumbing, tile, and fixtures with the same attention to detail.
Turn unused square footage into livable space with basement finishing built to handle Iowa humidity and moisture.
For larger projects touching multiple rooms, our whole home remodeling crew keeps the full scope on one timeline.
Our siding contractor team handles siding installation, siding repair, and siding replacement to protect your home's exterior.
Homeowners hire a lot of contractors over the years. The ones who stick with Houck's Construction usually point to the same few reasons.
Our approach stays consistent whether the job is a weekend deck repair or a full home renovation.
Travis Glynn and the Houck's Construction team stay involved on site, not just in the sales meeting. That hands-on approach means fewer surprises and a project that actually reflects what you asked for.
We explain the scope, the timeline, and the cost before work begins, and we keep you updated as the project moves along. You'll never have to guess what's happening with your home.
We don't cut corners to finish faster. Every deck, remodel, and outdoor install is built to handle Iowa weather and daily family use for years to come.
Houck's Construction has grown its reputation in Muscatine one finished project at a time. A few things keep homeowners coming back and referring their neighbors.
Proudly Serving the Quad Cities Region
Houck's Construction serves homeowners throughout Muscatine, IA, and the nearby communities on both sides of the Mississippi. If you're planning a remodel, a new deck, or an outdoor living upgrade, we'd love to talk through your project.
