General Contractor Serving Rock Island, IL
Rock Island, IL General Contractor for Remodeling and Custom Decks
Houck's Construction is the general contractor and deck builder Rock Island homeowners trust for remodeling projects and decks built to handle Illinois weather.
Remodeling and Deck Building for Rock Island Homes
Rock Island homes span a wide range, from century-old houses near the Broadway Historic District with original woodwork worth preserving, to ranch-style homes near Longview Park built for easy family living. As a home improvement contractor working across the Quad Cities, we've learned how to match our approach to the house in front of us rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all remodel.
Our crews are familiar with the freeze-thaw cycles that come off the Mississippi near Schwiebert Riverfront Park and Sunset Marina, which is part of why we build decks and additions with materials and footings meant to last through Illinois winters. Whether you're near Augustana College or out toward the Milan border, we show up on schedule and keep you in the loop from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.
We also understand the practical side of remodeling in Rock Island, including working within the city's permitting and inspection process so your project moves forward without unnecessary delays.

Houck's Construction was great! I needed soffit repairs and new siding on a chimney box on my house. They were able to meet at a great time and the work was done very well and the material was solid quality. Prices were very fair and work was done promptly when materials arrived. I would use them again for any work I need done.
